Games

This site is not focused on providing games as much as helping people learn how to make them, but still has a few achievements to show off. Most of these games are rather old (over 3 years), and work best on slower computers, but you are welcome to give them a try. MoonBugs: Respawned is my latest production, made September, 2007.

Title

Description

MoonBugs:
Respawned

MoonBugs: Respawned

A remake of a classic, you have been hired to defend the mines from the attacking MoonBugs, who are stealing cargo before it reaches the factory. (1 Player)

Written September 2007, "MoonBugs: Respawned", was based on "Moonbugs" (1983, Windmill Software).

Robot Attack II

Robot Attack

Although tanks are very strong, the robotic invasion army is still a threat to you. Steer your way through 10 mazes swarming with shooting robots and other hazards. Give the bots a taste of their own medicine with your own deadly cannon fire! (1 Player)

Written in 1997, "Robot Attack II", was based on "Robot Attack" (written 1994) which was based on "Robot Attack" (written 1983).

Worm War

Worm War

This is a classic, two-player worm battle game, with a few surprises. This game was written in 1996, and is still one of my favorites because of it's simplicity. the object of the game: Trap the enemy worm so that it can't move...and don't get trapped yourself. (modified for use with any CPU speed)

MoonCrash

MoonCrash

Unlike any lunar lander you have ever seen, MoonCrash lets you pilot a spacecraft from the Earth to the moon and back. Soft landings and fuel efficiency are just the beginning of this new concept in the "lunar lander" genre. (1 Player)

Battlefield
Annihilator

Battlefield Annihilator

This game is almost similar to C&C. Made for two players. Each player controls 7 tanks to try to destroy the others'. The game is played in rounds, each about 1.5 minutes long (when timed properly). If both sides have surviving tanks, money is rewarded for survivors, weapons and defenses may be bought, and another round begins. Detailed instructions are included in the game. (2 Players)

Space
Conflict

Space Conflict

There is conflict in this sector of the galaxy, and there is only enough room for 1. You must finish off the last of the opposing forces in a battle to the death! (1, 2, or 3 Players)

Space
Conflict II

Space Conflict II

You are a ship, you fly missions; our first attempt at making a fully user-programmable game. Mission files and mission lists are independant of the actual game and more can be added as desired. A graphics editor and instructions for writing mission files enable you to build your own ships, enemies, and other objects and program them to do whatever you want them to do. (1 Player)

Vector
Fire

Vector Fire

The classic QBasic game, GORILLAS, is two dimensional, so here is the same game but with another variable involved. There are two views, side and top. Position the gun on your tower to fire on the enemy by adjusting yaw, pitch, and firepower. Only a direct hit on the other gun will bring victory. (2 Players)

Breakout

Breakout

Another classic that has been abundantly over produced. However, to show that we are an official programming site, here is our version. This version is mouse controlled, using qb.qlb and qb.bi. QuickBasic 4.5 is required to run this program.
